Secure payment

The Customer may choose one of the following payment methods:

  • Credit Card
  • PayPal
  • Bank Transfer in Advance
  • Cash on Delivery

CREDIT CARD

If the Customer has chosen to make the payment by Credit Card, payment must be made when submitting the purchase order. The provider automatically verifies the card’s functionality at the time of the order, sending an e-mail indicating the outcome of the transaction; the reference bank will authorize only the commitment of the amount relating to the purchase made.

Prices are subject to change at any time, but such changes do not affect Orders already confirmed in the manner described above, except in the case of VAT rate adjustments.

If the credit card issuer or the bank refuses, or for any reason does not authorize or validate the payment, in such circumstances, Monterosa Zelandi Srl shall not be held responsible for delays or non-delivery of the Products.

If the information required to complete the payment is not provided, Monterosa Zelandi Srl reserves the right to automatically cancel the order.

In the event of cancellation of the order, Monterosa Zelandi Srl will request the cancellation of the transaction and the release of the committed amount. The release times, for some types of cards, depend exclusively on the banking system and may take up to their natural expiry date (24th day from the authorization date). Once the transaction cancellation has been carried out, under no circumstances can Monterosa Zelandi Srl be held liable for any damages, direct or indirect, caused by the delay in releasing the committed amount by the banking system.

Monterosa Zelandi Srl reserves the right to request additional information from the Customer or the submission of copies of documents proving ownership of the Card used. In the absence of the requested documentation, Monterosa Zelandi Srl reserves the right not to accept the order.

At no point during the purchase process does Monterosa Zelandi Srl have access to the purchaser’s credit card details, which are transmitted via secure connection directly to the banking institution handling the transaction. No computer archive of Monterosa Zelandi Srl will store such data. Under no circumstances can Monterosa Zelandi Srl therefore be held liable for any fraudulent or improper use of credit cards by third parties when paying for products purchased on the Website.

PAYPAL

If the Customer has chosen to purchase using PayPal, the amount relating to the order will be charged to the Customer’s PayPal account at the time the order is placed. In the event of cancellation of the order either by the Customer or due to non-acceptance by Monterosa Zelandi Srl, the amount will be refunded to the Customer’s PayPal account. In case of cancellation of the order, the cancellation of the transaction will be requested, and under no circumstances can Monterosa Zelandi Srl be held liable for any damages, direct or indirect, caused by the delay in the release of the committed amount by PayPal. For each transaction carried out with the PayPal account, the Customer will receive a confirmation email from PayPal.

Monterosa Zelandi Srl reserves the right to cancel and/or suspend the order if PayPal sends a message reporting anomalies and/or irregularities in the payment; in such case, Monterosa Zelandi Srl reserves the right to request additional information from the Customer and/or the submission of copies of documents proving ownership of the card used. In the absence of the requested documentation, Monterosa Zelandi Srl reserves the right not to accept the order, without the Customer being entitled to any compensation. At no time during the purchase process does Monterosa Zelandi Srl have access to the purchaser’s credit card details or any other payment method chosen within the PayPal wallet. Under no circumstances can Monterosa Zelandi Srl therefore be held liable for any fraudulent or improper use of credit cards by third parties when paying for products purchased on the Website.

BANK TRANSFER IN ADVANCE

If the Customer chooses Bank Transfer as the payment method, all necessary instructions will be provided during the final stage of Checkout. Delivery times may be accelerated by sending proof of payment via email to info@monterosawicks.com, thus allowing the preparation of the order for dispatch. Payment by bank transfer in advance always requires, without exception, that the order be processed only once the transfer has been received and the funds have been credited to the current account.

Orders placed but not paid for by bank transfer within 7 working days from the date of receipt will be automatically cancelled.

CASH ON DELIVERY

For Cash on Delivery, the courier applies an additional charge of €5.00 (VAT included), which will in any case appear in the order summary. Payment must be made to the courier, as usual. For amounts under €200, only cash payments will be accepted; for amounts equal to or greater than €200, payment may be made either in cash or by non-transferable cashier’s check made out to our company.
